He just bought her another gift. Geez!
Today, the net is buzzing with engagement rumors because Efron bought Hudgens reportedly a diamond ring, while some sites are reporting it’s not even diamonds, it’s only a $325 silver ring.
We can see the trend developing in the press; everytime he allegedly buys her a simple gift, everyone scrambles to scream engagement.
Now Magazine is reporting: “Teen heartthrob Zac Efron has given his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens a diamond ring. The High School Musical star, 20, splashed out on the heart-shaped sparkler, designed by Paloma Picasso, to prove how committed he is to their relationship.
” ‘It’s adorable and age-appropriate for Vanessa,’ a friend tells In Touch Weekly. ‘It’s from him, so she loves it.’ “

Vanessa Hudgens & Zac Efron Engaged?
I don’t believe any of this story, but thought I’d throw it out to you all to discuss!! According to the National Enquirer Zac Efron propsed to Vanessa Hudgens, while the pair were in Japan promoting the release of High School Musical 3 last month.
The tabloid says that the engagement a spur of the moment thing, mostly meant to calm Vanessa’s super-conservative mom who has spoken out against their recent decision to move in together. (Wait, move in together? Didn’t they just buy separate houses?)
“Zac hasn’t given Vanessa a ring yet. But he’s hoping the proposal will buy him some time with Vanessa’s super-strict mom, Gina, who didn’t approve of the sweethearts living together before they were married.”

SHARPAY (Ashley Tisdale) - Very expensive and over-the-top, with the majority of her clothes enhanced with Swarovski crystals and focused on hot pink and feathers. Distinguished by his Goorin Bros. fedora hat and for the prom, he sports a bowler hat, inspired by a popular Spanish trend.
CHAD (Corbin Bleu) - A very eco-friendly vibe with primarily organic and sustainable clothing and shoes. His American Apparel organic tees feature custom ecofriendly messages such as “My dog didn’t eat my homework, I recycled it” and “Greenster.” Labels include G-Star, Livity Outernational, Alternative Earth, Lucky Brand, Nike and Maasi Treads. I made sure we used American Eagle and Free People, Urban Outfitters so it could be accessible and kids could find that stuff.
TAYLOR (Monique Coleman) - A brainiac and business-like with a feminine edge. Taylor wears primarily J. Crew and Banana Republic sweaters and sweater vests over Theory and G-Star button-front shirts (worn untucked), with skirts by Marc Jacobs, Piazza Simione and Corey Lynn Calter.
KELSI (Olesya Rulin) - Very funky and artsy, but with a vintage feel that includes men’s blazers and vests from Club Monaco and French Connection, and vintage character tees by Disney Couture. Kelsi’s primary designer was artist Elisa Jimenez of “Project Runway
MARTHA (Kaycee Stroh) - Early Madonna combined with an urban hip-hop flare for a retro 80s vibe. She wears lots of leggings, multiple strands of pearls, bangles, multiple rubber bracelets and bandannas in her hair.
JASON (Ryne Sanborn) - Preppy East Coast jock. He wears polos with the collars worn up, button-down over-shirts worn open and untucked, with either pinstripe, plaid or khaki cargo shorts or jeans.
ZEKE (Chris Warren Jr.) - Young, hip and preppy with a crisp urban flare. He wears oversize polos and shorts.
TIARA (Jemma McKenzie-Brown) - An English schoolgirl look.
JIMMIE (Matt Prokop) - An ‘Emo vibe with a little skater mixed in.
DONNY DION (Justin Martin) - A little conservative with a cool edge.

Miley at Oscars
Miley Cyrus looks absolutely amazing, with her Zuhair Murad hand-beaded, champagne-toned, flower petal evening gown, as she arrives at the Academy Awards this evening. She says her dress weighs 100,000 pounds, and I believe her!
Miley is at the event to represent her film, Bolt, which is up for Best Animated Feature Film. It is hoped that with young stars like Miley, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Robert Pattinson in attendance, that many viewers will tune in tonight. I certainly plan to!

17 again video!
Finally some new clips and interview o of Zac Efron in 17 Again! Explaining the film, Zac says “So Mike is not thrilled with the way his life as turned out. And he wishes that he could go back to that day in his life when everything kind of came crashing down.”
“When the transformation happens my best friend thinks that I broke into his house!” Zac explains about one of the scenes.
As for the premise of the film, Zac says “The idea of going back to high school as an adult is incredible. Until you actually get there! It’s like this crazy Twilight zone of adolescent insecurities. I would describe 17 Again as an adventure in self-discovery. This is a pretty classic story of how much you should appreciate what you have, especially your family.”
The film is set to hit theaters on April 17th, 2009!

Corbins 20 today!
Wishing a very happy birthday to Corbin Bleu, who turns 20 today!
Corbin gave himself a birthday gift of LASIK eye surgery. The Khanna Institute says that the surgery was painless and Corbin sees better than with his contact lesnes! He says, “The change is extremely dramatic for me because I get to skip a step in the morning and at night. My vision is so much clearer than it used to be.”

E! News has confirmed that Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens will be performing in a musical number alongside host Hugh Jackman, Beyonce and Mamma Mia!’s Amanda Seyfried. Rehearsals kicked off last night in Hollywood.

Zac and Vanessa performing at Oscars?!
We know Zac Efron will be presenting an award at the Oscars this Sunday, but rumor has it that he and girlfriend/co-star Vanessa Hudgens will also be performing!
If this is true they’ll be part of a huge musical number that includes Beyonce, Oscars host Hugh Jackman, and “Mamma Mia’s” Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper, directed by Baz Luhrmann.
The 81st Annual Academy Awards air live on Sunday, February 22 at 5:00 PT/8:00 ET on ABC.
Zac's New Pad!
It looks like Zac Efron has only recently bought a house!
He started looking last August, and there were rumors that he had purchased one around the same time girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens purchased hers. The news buzzing around this morning, though, is that he just got his own place and paid $1 million for it!
The price tag probably has a lot to do with the location, as Zac was quoted as saying “It’s very modest. It’s not a big house.” The modest pad apparently includes an infinity pool with a great view of Los Angeles.
Even though the place is getting some decorating help, Zac still doesn’t have much furniture, and is actually sleeping on an air mattress on the floor for now!

ashley braves the rain
Ashley Tisdale was spotted out with her mom, Lisa, in Sherman Oaks today. The duo had a long lunch at the Marmalade Cafe before braving the weather!
In a recent interview, Ashley dished on what she preferred to do in High School Musical 3 - dance, sing, or act.
“I’m definitely not a dancer,” Ashley says. “I can move well, but it’s more about the acting and the singing for me. Acting and singing are completely different, so I can’t say which one I love better because I love them both. I love acting because I get to play different characters. But I also love my music because I get to portray me. My fans can get to know me better through my music, which is something I really like.”
As far as the downside to being a successful actress, Ashley says that fame is a downside when it intrudes into your life. “We’re passionate about what we do and we love what we do, so I don’t regret anything – but I can’t stand the paparazzi. They camp outside my house, which is really upsetting. Even if I just pop out for a coffee, they will follow me. I love this industry and I love what I do, so I guess this is just one thing you have to learn to put up with.”

Vanessa pumps gas!
Vanessa Hudgens looks absolutely adorable as she stops to pump gas into her car at a Toluca Lake gas station on Valentine’s Day.
The High School Musical starlet donned a baggy grey cardigan sweater with a pair of slim fit dark-washed jeans, tan heeled booties and a shiny butterfly clip in her hair. She threw a couple glances over her shoulder at the paparazzi and checked her phone.

Jemma McKenzie-Brown recently chatted with The Mirror and confirms that she’ll be starring in High School Musical 4. She’s also amazed at all the roles being offered to her since playing Tiara in HSM3.
“Since doing the movie I’ve gone from getting auditions for radio plays to getting auditions for films,” she spills. “It’s like, ‘We’re considering Tom Cruise for the role of the father,’ and I’m thinking, ‘Oh God, this is crazy.’”
Jemma has been compared to Miley Cyrus and she admits that it’s strange. “She’s such a massive star. It’d be amazing to be as successful as her but it’s just nice to be classed in the same category. It’s just too huge. Everything is really surreal, it hasn’t sunk in yet. You have to step back. It’s crazy, it’s not something you ever imagine happening to you.”
zac to be johnny quest?
Zac Efron’s next big role could be playing Jonny Quest!
Rumor has it that the cartoon “The Adventures of Jonny Quest” is heading for the big screen and both Zac and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who would play Race Bannon, are some of the names being tossed around.
“The Adventures of Jonny Quest” would be a live-action adaptation of popular Hanna-Barbera’s sci-fi adventure cartoon series. It tells the story of an 11-year-old boy who accompanies his father, Dr. Benton Quest, on extraordinary adventures. However, it looks like the movie version may be going for an older Jonny to attract older fans.
I’m not sure what the timeline is for this — Zac is supposed to start filming Footloose pretty soon, and wasn’t it rumored a while back that he’d be in the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie too? We haven’t heard anything else on that one either.
miley FORGETS words to 'fly on the wall'
Miley Cyrus performed live on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway (in London) yesterday and she forgot the lines! About halfway through Fly on the Wall Miley fumbles. She forgets a couple of the lines and then keeps going. Thanks Mitch for the tip!
According to Aceshowbiz.com, when asked how she was going to spend her Valentine’s Day, Miley said “I love to chill out at home,” and “eat lots of food and rent movies … making picture frames and collages.”

Miley Cyrus looks fabulous as she walks the red carpet at the Grammy Arrivals in a single-shoulder black Herve Leger gown with a rose accent.
Taylor Swift told E!Online how it came to be that she and Miley would be singing on stage together tonight. “They always sort of suggest that you present them with a collaboration that you think makes sense. So Miley and I had always been talking about ‘When can we sing together? It would be so cool to sing together.’ So we came to the Grammys and said, ‘What about this song, “Fifteen”? It really applies to us.’”
Back from Brazil
Zac Efron and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens are back in the US after a week-long vacation in Brazil!
The pair were mobbed at the airport in Brazil on their way out, slowed down by excited fans snapping pictures and getting autographs. I wonder how much extra time they have to tack on to their arrival time just for situations like that?
The much-needed vacation has come after a very long promotional tour for their mega-hit movie, High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
Zac’s upcoming movie releases include 17 Again with Matthew Perry, which will be released April 17, and Me and Orson Welles (which hasn’t been picked up by a distributor yet, keep your fingers crossed!). He’ll also begin work on the Footloose remake soon. Vanessa’s upcoming movie, Bandslam, is set to hit theaters in July.
zac takes a break?!
Zac Efron recently confessed that he would love to take a break and travel the world!!
“Sure, I’d love to take a year off and travel the world under the radar. I would love to do it really low key,” the Sun quoted him as saying.
Unfortunately Zac fears being recognized and followed wherever he goes. “I wouldn’t need to stay in fancy hotels or anything; I just want to explore – but I don’t know how I’d do it.”
“Would I shave my head to try and go incognito? Ha ha! I’m not telling,” he added!

Vanessa fashion tips
Zac Efron’s longtime girlfriend and HSM co-star Vanessa Hudgens recently answered some fashion and beauty questions for the Style A-list.
She talks about a lot of basic but fun things like her favorite drugstore staple, what she never travels without, and her favorite makeup trick.
Like a good spokesperson, she answers a lot of them with what seem to be Neutrogena plugs, but we’ll forgive her!
On Hoilday in BRAZIL!
Just as we had hoped, Zac and girlfriend Vanessa have taken some time for themselves and are on vacation in Brazil this week!
After a quick stop in North Carolina for Vanessa, Zac took off from LAX the next day and met up at Galeão Airport in Brazil mid-week. They’ll remain in Brazil until Sunday before heading home.

Going to LAX
Zac Efron was headed out of LA today via LAX, a day after Vanessa also departed. Vanessa is currently in Raleigh, North Carolina at the Dillard Drive Middle School for a free surprise concert courtesy of Sears! No idea yet where Zac was heading — maybe they’re meeting up for a much-deserved vacation?
Zac will begin filming the Footloose remake soon with HSM3 directory Kenny Ortega!
Re-Decorating
Kenneth Brown, the designer who is renovating both Zac Efron’s and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens’ houses, has said that the two couldn’t be any more different, design-wise!
He said Zac favors a modern look while Vanessa falls back on traditional decor: “They’re complete opposites,” he said. “If they ever get married, they’ll have to have separate houses.”
Vanessa purchased her $2.7 million house last year, and while we still don’t know much about the house Zac owns, it’s said to be a two-bedroom worth about $2.3 million in the Hollywood Hills.

Back Home
Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are back from their busy couple of days in Tokyo. They were there to promote “High School Musical 3: Senior Year”. Zac and Vanessa attended the premiere and also did a couple of the television rounds.
I bet these two are exhausted and then they are met at LAX and have to smile and sign autographs. It’s all apart of the job I guess, but still! I hate being bothered after a long trip.
