It was an exciting day for the kids at the Mattel Children’s Hospital in L.A. when Zac Efron stopped by to drop off $10,000 worth of toys!

Zac, who partnered up with Gifts.com for the occasion, was at the hospital for about two hours yesterday, passing out dolls, keyboards, art sets, and of course High School Musical merchandise. He also signed autographs and posed for photos with the children and staff.

“The kids were smitten and beaming from ear to ear,” a source told Usmagazine.

“Some of the kids couldn’t even speak, but they had the widest grins and would sit as close to him as possible. Zac was super gracious and could not have been more kind and truly happy to be there.”

The Mattel Children’s Hospital at UCLA specializes in the treatment and research of pediatric diseases.
